3 Hindu youth stabbed by local Muslim men for raising nationalist slogans after the screening of ‘The Kashmir Files’. We live in an independent country. We have recited the pledge thousands of times in our school days, during the republic and on Independence Day. India is my country. All Indians are my brothers and sisters. I love my country and I am proud of its rich heritage.
A national pledge is considered an oath of allegiance to the Republic of India, but I think the people of India have forgotten the pledge over the past years because for some people, it’s just a word that is written on a sheet.
They have forgotten the brotherhood and the bond that the Indians used to share with everyone, besides the narrow domestic walls that were built by the society during the time of independence. All Indians had one mission: to free the nation from the British and gain independence.
Welcome to the era of modernisation.
As now it’s been 73 years of independence in India, we celebrated our 73rd Independence Day last year on the 15th of August 2021. I know everyone will remember this, agree?
Why do we celebrate Independence Day?
Yes, I know it would sound like a stupid question to some people. We call it sarcastic in this era of modernization and revolution. Everything has changed from one decade to another. People’s lives, lifestyles, and the value of money have changed rapidly and effectively.
What hasn’t changed yet?
Everything has been changed from the oldest ruling party over so many years to the decline of a political party, but in this transition of changes, we have failed to change the thoughts of the people. Yes, no doubt we are living in the era of revolution but there are some insane creatures out there who can’t see the happiness on another person’s face.
They act as a shield in this environment. Believe me, I am not blaming a single community or a religion. I am blaming each person whose thought process hasn’t been updated in this time. From me to you, each of us is seeing the same thing in our environment but no one is taking an initiative to know their thought process, the reason behind the cause.
As we all know, after so many years, the Bollywood industry has surprised every Indian with the untold storey of the Kashmir files, showing the dark side and the reality of what had happened with the Kashmiri pandit at that time. That’s why this film has been watched worldwide.
Let’s come to reality.
Everything has been explained to you from pledge to constitution each thinks then why this thing is happening around us who are these maniac creatures who are stabbing and killing innocent people just because of their ego and respect.
On Friday (March 18), three Hindu youths were gravely injured in a knife attack while they were exiting the cinema hall after watching the movie, “The Kashmir Files.” The incident took place in the Fazil Nagar block in the Kushinagar district of Uttar Pradesh.

What does this accident signify?
We always talk about our rights and regulations, which are often blamed by the people that these laws are made against our community and religion, whether it’s “Teen Talakh” law or “Kisan Law,” which has got so many criticisms all around the world. Remember?
But no one asks why these laws have been made and implemented. If India is an independent country, every Indian has the right and choice to choose and speak. Then why do these things happen around the globe?
To act lawfully in accordance with the rights and laws enshrined in India’s constitution. Different laws have been made and implemented by the constitution to help the people of India legally, but our country has got independence.
If it then why is these things happening around us? If every Indian is my brother and sister, then why has a girl been raped while playing Holi with his friends near the mosque?
If every Indian are my brother and sister then why did one of my brothers stab a knife at another brother after seeing him cheerful and happy while he was coming out from theatres after watching the Kashmir files movie just because he was screaming nationalist slogan?
So, what’s wrong with this? We all belong to the same land. We are the people of India. Then why is it each day one of Indian’s sons is killed, murdered, and raped if everyone is their brother and sister?
Yes, they all are punished but do you think the punishment is the only criteria the government can do to the culprit?
For so many years we all are saying clean India, the clean nation then there are some people who through the garage on the streets don’t listen and see the slogans and posters which are mentioned around the nation.
The government does this with the people who are in prison for a long time. They don’t look into why they did what they did, what their thoughts were, or how they lived their lives before they did it. This is what the government does with the people who are in prison for a long time. They don’t look into why they did what they did, what their thoughts were, or how they lived their lives before they did it.
THE MIND IS THE CULPRIT
It’s not wrong to say the culprit is in our mind. Our thoughts have made us able to do anything, from clearing the UPSC exam to killing someone. It all requires headwork, zeal, and planning.
After the screening of the movie was over, the trio raised nationalist slogans while exiting the cinema halls. Irked by the sloganeering, the local Muslim men first argued with the Hindu youths. When the arguments turned heated, they attacked the Hindu youths with knives and inflicted severe injuries.
The victims were then rushed to the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Fazilnagar block. After giving the three Hindu youths some first aid, the doctors sent them to a nearby medical college for more help.
The Patherwa Police had launched a probe into the matter. A First Information Report (FIR) was filed, and a search operation was started to find the men who were accused of the crime, as well. Station House Officer (SHO) Akhilesh Kumar Singh assured that the perpetrators would be brought to justice.
The movie “The Kashmir Files” narrates the 1990 genocide of Kashmiri Pandits. The Kashmir Files are inspired by the true stories of Kashmiri Pandits. It takes viewers back to 1989, when conflict erupted in Kashmir due to rising Islamic Jihad, forcing the great majority of Hindu to flee the valley.
Estimates say that between February and March 1990, about 100,000 Kashmiri Pandit people left the valley. More of them fled in the years that followed, until just about 3,000 families remained in the valley by 2011.
The movie, based on video interviews with first-generation Kashmiri Pandit victims of the Kashmir Genocide, was released in India on March 11 and is available to watch in theatres.
