A citizen was shot dead in Delhi by an unknown motorcyclist today. The victim’s family has filed a complaint at Jamia Nagar Police station. The crime team was eventually called in for inspection and the investigation for the suspect is carried forward.
A 40-year-old has been shot dead in Jamina Nagar, Delhi. In an investigation held by the Delhi police, the suspect was supposedly riding a motorcycle and fired the shot near Moosa masjid in Jamina Nagar. The reason for the murder is still unknown.Â
However, the Delhi police are looking into the case to secure a sense of security in the area. FIR has been filed by the victim’s family. The crime team was on the spot of the incident for inspection.
Wasif Sattar Ghazi died on the spot and the holy family hospital confirmed the report. Jamina Nagar police have checked the CCTV of the area and surrounding, and further details of the suspect are awaited by the victim’s family.
The visuals showed one of the attackers getting off their two-wheeler and pulling out a gun. He shot at the victim from point blank and then fled the scene along with his associate.
The police are yet to ascertain the reason behind the attack. They are scouring through the CCTV footage from the area.
A murder case has been registered and a search is on for the attackers. Further investigation is on.
