There are many people in this world who are killed for many purposes. Either, they are for selfish movies, revenge, a grudge, accidental killing, etc. If we observe the history of killing, there were kings killed, and common people killed. Many times it was the common people being killed. On Wednesday, a 58-year-old mine trader was killed in the U.S. Nagar of Uttarakhand.
What happened?
Mahal Singh, a 58-year-old mine trader, was reading the newspaper as a part of his daily routine in the courtyard at around 8:30 am. It was then he was stabbed by the killer, on Thursday.
As the killers were riding a bike, the victim couldn’t abstruse what was actually happening. Mahal Singh belonged to Zurkha village, which came under the Kashipur police station. The incident took place so fast that the victim could not understand who it was.
By the time he could understand anything, he was shot. After that, the accused immediately escaped from the area.
Mahal Singh, the victim, wanted to chase the accused but to no avail. He collapsed on the spot.
When the relatives saw him in this condition, they immediately rushed him to the hospital.
However, they declared him dead on the arrival.
Police Delay in the Arrival on the Spot
The murder created a huge panic in the minds of the villagers. The villagers immediately called the police.
However, the police could not reach on time as they were busy with the Kundara murder case where a woman was killed in cross-firing.
Now, for further queries, police will be coming to gather further information from the eyewitnesses and others related to the case. For now, the body of the victim will be handed over to the victim’s family after the post-mortem.
An FIR is yet to be filed against the people who have committed the crime. According to sources, there will be an SIT that will include 14 members in a team (which also includes a circle of police, one inspector, six sub-inspectors, and 5 constables).
There will also be further investigation of the case. Also, an additional investigation will take place on the rivalry angle for the mining trade in Kashipur, added the official.
