As per the reports, Akshay Kumar has put his all-out effort into reviving his three most beloved films and characters of all time: Raju from Hera Pheri, Guru Gulab Khatri from Awara Pagal Deewana, and Rajiv from Welcome, with Firoz Nadiadwala. Come 2024, he will be revisiting these characters one after another with Hera Pheri 3, Awara Pagal Deewana 2, and Welcome 3, according to the source.

The Pinkvilla report states, “Akshay Kumar and Firoz Nadiadwala have had multiple meetings over the last month to get everything in place for these projects.” The idea is to revive the three franchises and bring back the Hindi cinema audience in a big way. The three films fit the bill of post-covid content, which creates genuine excitement in the audience. “The talks are on with three top directors (we will bring more soon) and expect an official announcement on one of the three projects in the next few months.”

Mr. Khiladi was last seen in Ram Setu, which was released last month. In this movie, Akshay is seen sharing the screen with Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrrat Bharuccha, directed by Abhishek Sharma.
He will be next seen in a South Indian film remake, “Soorarai Pottru,” in Bollywood. He is also playing the lead role opposite Emran Hashmi in “Selfie.” which is also the official remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Driving License.
