An inquiry committee report disclosed that the AAP leader misused his power and violated rules. Satyendra Jain was seen getting a full-body massage in disguise as physiotherapy. A week later it was found that the ‘therapist’ was a rape-accused convict in the Tihar jail.
As per the information, an inquiry committee was formed to investigate this matter and was led by the Principal Secretaries of the Home and Law Ministries and the Secretary of the Directorate of Vigilance. The reports revealed that Satyendra Jain misused his official position.
As per the Committee, five inmates identified as Dilip Kumar, Sonu Singh, Manish, Rinku, and Afar Ali were forced by the jail munshi, warden, and superintendent for providing special services to the AAP minister.
Committee reports denounced the former DG (Prison) Sandeep Goel for colluding with AAP minister Satyendra Jain and disciplinary action has been directed against Goel. The report also pointed out that VIP treatment by inmates wasn’t out of any love and affection but out of fear.

Sony Singh, Dilip Kumar, and Afsar Ali were coerced to provide cleaning services to Jain and Manish was given the charge to arrange fruits and outside food for Jain.
Manish said, “By using my card, I used to purchase fruits from the jail canteen for Satyendra Jain. He deposited money in my jail account card 3-4 times and each time he deposited Rs 6,900… I did not provide services to Jain willingly.”
As per Afsar Ali, he was given a false belief that Jain and Sanjay Gupta would help him financially to come out of jail. Later, he found that his jail card was being used by Gupta and funded for his personal use.
Sonu Singh said that he was coerced to comply with the diktat of the Jail Munshi as the Munshi would produce before the supervising jail staff for non-compliance.
Dilip Kumar said that he was coerced to provide cleaning services to Satyendra Jain. He also said that such services weren’t there for other prisoners in Tihar jail.
