To keep up with their justified ticket fee, the platforms have a justified Dynamic Pricing Model, which means that the value of a ticket is based on circumstances it can be hiked in face of high demand.
This dynamic pricing resulted in ticket prices of $400 to $5000 for a concert ticket of Bruce Springsteen, similarly, the prices of Taylor Swift were touching the sky.
According to Loudwire, a US-based music platform states, ticket prices are touching a whooping high after the pandemic restricts were removed, let’s compare some of the prices over the years
Metallica— Then It was $22 for the lower area of the Chicago arena in 1991. Now the ticket prices are almost touching $800 for a two-day event.
Guns N’ Roses— The ticket price in 1987 was $15, Now the ticket can cost up to $217.
Foo Fighters—Their 1996 GA ticket sold for 18$ but Now it ranges from$143 to $248.
Bruce Springsteen— $17 was the price for the Born in the USA tour in 1984 but Now it ranges from $400 to $500.
Red Hot Chilli Peppers—In the year 1999 for $29 you could get your hands on a ticket to a concert but Now the prices vary between $176 to $826.
Motley Crue— $18.50 for the price for loud fun, Now the tickets a running at $145.
In India, the netizens were surprised that the cost of Arijit Singh’s ticket ranged from Rs 999 to a whopping Rs 16,00,000.
