The trophy was securely fastened to a custom-made balloon designed specifically for stratospheric exploration, taking it to extraordinary heights. Subsequently, the trophy safely descended and arrived at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Employing creative engagements and diverse events held across various nations, the trophy tour will offer a unique opportunity for one million fans to personally engage with the prestigious trophy. The final match of the ODI showpiece, which India will host later this year, will take place at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium.

During the commencement of the Trophy Tour, Geoff Allardice, the ICC Chief Executive, expressed, “Cricket has more than a billion fans and we want to give as many people as possible the opportunity to get up close to this famous trophy that has been held aloft by some of the greatest legends of our sport.”

During this multi-month tour, the trophy will engage fans worldwide as the World Cup schedule is also announced in Mumbai.
