The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky has accused Moscow. In his opinion, it resorts to nuclear terror. It is also repeating the Chernobyl disaster. After saying that invading Russian forces shot at a nuclear power plant, he said the previous statement. 

The troops of Russia are shelling the largest nuclear power station of Europe in Ukraine. The President said that no country, except Russia has ever fired on nuclear power units. This is now happening for the first time in the history of mankind. He said In a video message, he said that  the terrorist state now resorted to the terror to nuclear bombs.  

The authorities in Ukraine said the safety of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant was now secured. He said it after a fire broke out. It was the time when the station came under fire from the invasion of Russia. The nuclear safety is guaranteed, as said by the director of the plant. 

The crisis cell activated at ASN nuclear watchdog, activated by France, after fire at Ukraine nuclear plant

French Energy Minister Barbara Pompili said that the crisis cell was activated at the ASN nuclear watchdog, activated by France, after a fire at the Ukraine nuclear plant zaporizhzhia.

In a tweet, Pompili said that no changes about the radiation levels had been signaled. Jens Stoltenberg, the chief of NATO, decried the recklessness of Russia, over the shelling of a nuclear power plant in Ukraine. He also demanded Moscow to stop the war against its neighbor.   

The Stock markets of Europe dropping at open 

The main stock markets of Europe are suffering losses because of the war tensions in Ukraine escalating. This happened when Russia captured the biggest nuclear power plant of Europe. The benchmarkFTSE 100 index in London fell 0.6 percent to 7,195.64 points.  

Russian MPs adopt bill: The bill introduces jail terms for rumors on army 

The lawmakers in Russia have approved legislation. This legislation provides up to 15 years in jail, if they notice any publication of the rumors about the armed forces of Russia. 

Around 6 lakhs people have entered Poland from Ukraine since the invasion. 

The Polish border guard said that around 6,24,500 people have entered Poland from Ukraine because of the invasion of Russia. The Polish Border said that later around 99,200 people entered, and that on the next day, about 25,200 people had crossed.
