Adobe’s and Microsoft’s AI Strategies in India
Adobe Inc.’s India CEO has said that the company’s India team is assisting in building the corporation’s future AI-ready solutions. He also said that the company continues to support the production of many international products from India.
He also talked about a recently launched product feature from the company called Generative recolor through which one can visualize their text, determine the text, and also you want to get an instruction or vector representation to start creating things.
He also said that the development happens on all three levels. The company is creating and gathering data in a suitable manner. Besides, it is building models based on the information it has and for the areas in which it is interested. Moreover, it is also developing interfaces for all of its apps.
The CEO also said that the company will play a role in its contribution to understanding how the artificial intelligence models used in its approaches were developed, the way they will be implemented, and if the end results were produced through humans or computers.
Besides, he also talked about the revenue generation within India for the US-based firm where he said that India is currently lagging behind other top regions but there is a robust pace for the company’s growth operations here. According to him, firms are going digital here in India because of the excellent growth rates and considering the current pace of expansion in the creative, document, or marketing sectors.
He said that the company is accelerating its expansion in India by riding on major banks like HDFC, SBI, ICICI, etc., and retail companies alongside other significant businesses.
On the other hand, Mr Brad Smith, the vice-chairman of Microsoft said that the teams in Microsoft India are at the center of research on the effective application of AI technologies. According to him, the team here in India is focusing on a variety of global approaches, and most of the portion of their work is dedicated to research on AI.
According to him, the work going on here includes enhancing the tuning, improvements, and deployments of AI models using Graphical processing units. He also said that what makes this place more special is building the technical expertise needed so that AI can be applied more effectively over several languages.
The vice-chairman also stated that these translation services will substantially boost knowledge availability for a sizable population in India.
Furthermore, he continued to say that AI is much more capital intensive with more and more investments going into infrastructure, GPUs, CPUs, fiber, etc. and he anticipates more capital investment in AI rather than the costs associated with upskilling and training programs.
SAP’s AI Strategy in India
The incoming chairman of SAP said that SAP’s AI strategy in India includes investing more than $1 billion to increase its influence in the AI business. He also talked about a multidimensional investment thesis by making its range of products AI-enabled.
He also talked about SAP’s AI strategy of investing in new areas and establishing ecosystems and partnerships.
According to him, the company is the fastest-growing market in India, where 3,500 new staff have been hired annually on average during the past four years. He said that governments and organizations must step up skill-building activities in order to take full advantage of the job prospects that AI has to offer.
