The New York Fashion Week is one of the most important fashion events of the world. For a few weeks in the beginning, the time and place of the meeting have been the subject of discussion. It was also the debut anniversary of some of the designers who were showcased on the runway. There has been a constant struggle between the old school designs and the trendy styles of the present day among the talented designers.
Designers of the week

The brand happened to be a popular name during the 1990s and 2000s for its flattering silhouettes designed for the small children.Â
Advancing towards the future

Designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of the brand Proenza Schouler have re-invented their brand logo. They had released their New York Fashion Week collection featuring elegant suits and skirts, thong heels with tights.Â
The need for inclusivity in womenswear is a need of the hour. Fashioners like Comey and Batsheva Hay have revolutionized the wardrobe of the women for their personal and professional life through their New York Fashion Week collection. Hillary Taymour of the label Collina Strada had also proved that the past, present and future can exist side-by-side. Khaite’s long blazers and oversized jackets are the new luxury pieces to look forward to. Meanwhile Eckhaus Latta had redefined the athleisure and sportswear market of the industry. The previous fashion had the designers in its firm hold. They were trying to fit themselves according to the typical standards.Â
With time, these groups of talented individuals have managed to find their way. The classic, elegant and minimalist aesthetics would take time to cross over the consumer market. While the designers took time to develop their individual outlook, they managed to create their niche after honouring their past designs.Â
