On the 42nd foundation day of the Bharatiya Janata Party, on 6th April 2022, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the world is divided into two factions while India stands firm and still with its interest and is viewed as a country capable of speaking about humanity. While addressing the party members through video conference, PM Modi commented on the sweeping victory of the BJP in four states, he said the party has returned to power with a double engine and the party has touched the 100-mark in the Rajya Sabha after three decades.
JP Nadda hoisted the flag:Â
BJP National President JP Nadda, on the occasion of the 42nd foundation day, hoisted the national flag at the Party’s headquarters in Delhi. During the meeting, greeting the PM, JP Nadda said that PM Modi has devoted his life to the journey of the development of the party. Talking about the generations of people who spent themselves for the party, he said that they must pay tribute to the people who carried the oil lamp of the Jan Sangh before replacing the party’s symbol with a lotus flower. The party president further took part in the BJP’s Shobha Yatra in Delhi after the meeting.Â
Amit Shah’s tweet:Â
Union Home Minister Amit Shah tweeted over the 42-year journey of the party, he said in his tweet that the party’s journey has been embraced with National service, national upliftment and national reconstruction. He also added to his tweet that under the leadership of PM Modi, the party has become an agency for fulfilling the dreams of the poor people, farmers and downtrodden since 2014.
Hardeep Singh Puri hoisted BJP’s flag:Â
On the event of the 42nd foundation day of the BJP, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri hoisted the party’s flag at his residence and hailed PM Modi over his governance. As per the report published by India Today, He said that in the last eight-year, the PM-led government has given a new definition of governance. Keeping UP as an example, he added that the party won in UP as development was done here rapidly and sincerely.Â
PM Modi’s address:Â
Continuing his address speech, PM Modi said that the BJP is strengthening the resolve of Ek Bharath, Shreshtha Bharat (one nation, the best nation) constantly from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. PM Modi gave three reasons for considering this year’s foundation day important. The first reason is that the foundation day coincides with the 75th year of independence. The second reason he gave was the changing global conditions and order. The third reason was the formation of the BJP government in four states.
Further in his address through video conference, the PM said to the workers that the party has successfully retorted the opposition’s vote bank politics. He further added that there are two kinds of politics prevailing in the country, one is ‘Parivar bhakti’ and the other one is ‘Rashtra bhakti’. Noting that the party follows the ‘Rashtra bhakti’ politics, he uttered that the family-led parties in different states in the country have never allowed the progress of the youth and they were betrayed always. BJP being the only party that is alerting the country’s people of this problem, PM Modi said that they must be proud of it.Â
Yogi Adityanath’s remarks:Â
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath, at the programme, said that BJP is the only party that puts the country above all and added that the party represents the sentiments of every citizen in the country whether the BJP government is at the Centre or in states. Adding that even the political analysts are in surprise over the journey of the party, UP CM further said that the BJP is the world’s largest political party.Â
