Uttarakhand’s Education Minister, Dhan Singh Rawat, will soon start preparing the syllabus.
During the event on May 2, the State Education Minister said, there will be a meeting of the department officers for the same. The department will prepare the syllabus to include the Gita, Upanishads, and Vedas in it. Further changes will occur in the syllabus under the New Education Policy.
Rawat further added, “Children must be explained the importance of the examination. An examination is like a festival and has to be celebrated like one.” Furthermore, the Prime Minister’s ‘Pariksha Par Charcha’ has boosted the morale of many students.
“Parents should actively participate in counseling sessions for students, and parents should also indicate their own involvement in them. Additionally, there should be monthly examinations for the students to prepare them for the main exams, “he said.
The Union to provide financial help for Uttarakhand’s education initiatives
Rawat has also confirmed that the education sector of Uttarakhand is expected to gain financial help from the centre. Through the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, the state is likely to get more than 1100 crores for FY22–23. As a result, the state Education Ministry plans to use this amount to provide new furniture in government schools.
