 Afghanistan government has surrendered to the Taliban after it seized Kabul, the capital city of Afghanistan, on Sunday, August 15.
After the resignation of former President Ashraf Ghani, the Taliban took over the Afghan Presidential Palace and rechristened the country as the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
The whole world is concerned about the escalating tensions in Afghanistan. Many Bollywood celebrities took to their official social media handles to show concern and fear over the grim situation.

Actress Kangana Ranaut shared a note on her IG story stating,” Today we watch silently, tomorrow this can happen to us as well”.
She even penned a lengthy letter expressing her gratitude to the Indian government for proposing CAA and ‘giving hope’ to all the castes.
She added,” I wish we could save entire Afghanistan. Still, charity begins at home, we are going to protect the minorities there, and someday we will save the world as well…Praying for Afghanistan” with a praying hands emoticon.

Thousands of Afghanis tried to board the last few flights leaving the country and were killed amid heavy gunfire at Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul.
