The West Midlands Police have stated that their investigation is ongoing as they analyse CCTV footage and forensic evidence. “Detectives are eager to hear from anyone who may have been travelling in the vicinity at the time and who may have obtained dashcam evidence of the attack or its lead-up,” the police stated, referring to the Mount Road attack in Lanesfield, Wolverhampton.
A 15-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man who were detained in relation to the incident last week have been freed on police bail.
