Erik Ten Hag is involved in the direct discussions to sign this defensive midfielder. Reportedly Adrien Rabiot and his mother Veronique negotiated the personal terms. There seems to be no problem between the clubs as Juventus is willing to offload a French player before the transfer window closes.
