The rate of COVID-19 infection is spreading in Delhi once again.On Thursday, 2726 people were infected with corona virus in Delhi in one day. The health department said that this is the daily highest in the last seven months. As a result, a new panic has arisen in the capital Delhi. Corona positivity rate has jumped to 14.38 percent. Currently, the number of active corona cases in Delhi is 8840. In the last 24 hours, 6 people have died due to corona infection in Delhi. Which is the highest in the last six months. Earlier on February 6, the number of active cases reached 8869.

On Thursday, the number of daily corona infections in India was 16 thousand 299. 53 people died in one day. In total, the number of people who have died in Corona has reached 5 lakh 26 thousand 879. Currently, there are more than 1 lakh 25 thousand active corona patients across the country. Among them, 598 people were infected with corona virus in Bengal in one day and 4 people died. In addition, 683 people in one day in Mumbai.

The cases in delhi was more high than any other state of India .In June the cases were 3788 which touches more than 20000 in April 2021. This Epidemic Disease COVID-19 Regulation, 2020, authorises district magistrates to seal off a geographical area, banning entry and exit of the population from the containment zone and to take any measures directed by the health department to prevent the spread of the disease. After two year the COVID cases has rise again. Across the country, several political leaders have tested positive for the virus in the recent weeks.Union Minister of State for Health Bharati Pravin Pawar and MoS for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai tested positive For the virus. Arvind kejriwal the chief minister of delhi tweeted on January 2022 that he tested positive for virus.
