Diljit Dosanjh dropped a gift for his fans on Saturday. The actor shared a new poster for Honsla Rakh and announced the release date of the film.
In addition to Diljit, the poster also features Sehnaaz Gill and Sonam Bajwa. While Diljit holds a baby and drinks milk from a bottle, Shehnaaz has toys and looks at Diljit.
Sonam, on the other hand, is holding baby food in her hand. We see baby clothes behind the three of them and a stroller with a teddy bear.
The quirky poster indeed made people smile. Diljit shared the poster and announced that the trailer for Honsla Rakh would release on Monday, September 27, at 1 pm.Â
As soon as Diljit shared the poster, fans of Shehnaaz Gill celebrated and filled the comment area with praise for the actor.
“Our Shehnaaz looks so pretty,” read one comment, while another fan said, “I can’t wait. Super excited. ” Shehnaaz chose not to share the poster on her Instagram account.
The actress has stayed away from social media since the death of her dear friend Sidharth Shukla. Sidharth died of a heart attack earlier this month.
He was 40 years old. Sidharth and Shehnaaz were known to be called SidNaaz. The two met on Bigg Boss 13 and have been inseparable ever since.Â
About the poster
Honsla Rakh got engulfed earlier this year, and the release date got announced. Diljit shared a photo of him hugging a pregnant Shehnaaz while gazing into her eyes on the same.
The vivid poster shows Diljit, Shenaaz and Sonam in sweatpants and sweatshirts. The singer drinks from a bottle and holds a stuffed animal on a blanket that resembles a baby.
Shehnaaz and Sonam are twins in light greenish-blue polka dot outfits, and they look adorable. The two of them smile at Diljit with a pink stroller standing in front of the trio.Â
The cast
The film also stars Gippy Grewal’s son, Shinda Grewal, and Amarjit Singh Saron. Honsla Rakh is also Diljit’s debut as a producer. Support the film under its Story Time Productions banner. The film will open on October 15.Â
Shehnaaz on promotions
Since Shehnaaz Gill is a close companion of the late actor Sidharth Shukla, the fans inquired whether she would resume filming the film after his death.
Diljit told ETimes, “We are waiting for her to recover and heal from the heavy loss. We had originally planned to shoot the song on September 15 in London, but that couldn’t happen because of obvious reasons.
We will finalise a new date soon and want Shehnaaz to be a part of it, too, as she is an integral part of the film. I am in touch with her manager and hope she will contact us in a few days.”
Much of the filming got completed on April 1, 2021, except a promo song filmed on September 15. The filming date was on hold due to the loss of Shehnaaz Gill from her close friend Sidharth Shukla
