Aakash Chopra, former Indian Cricketer, has tweeted about his instincts that other than Shaheen Shah Afridi (Pakistani bowler) would not be a much greater threat than Haris Rauf (Another Pakistani bowler) to the Indian batters.
The former Indian Cricketer, Aakash Chopra remains active on most of the social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram and much more than this.
Recently, Chopra has warned the Indian team to get well practice sessions as he has named the bowler from Pakistan’s squad who could be proving a great threat to the Indian team, on Sunday. His name is Haris Rauf.
The greatest rivalry- India Versus Pakistan
For decades, it has been a tradition that the match between India and Pakistan becomes a festival in both the countries whether it is India or Pakistan. And, the hype of the rivalry is so high that it creates a lot of pressure amongst the players on both sides.

In order to understand why Aakash Chopra made this statement of warning, it should be kept in mind that Shaheen Shah Afridi is coming back to Pakistan’s squad after recovering from an injury.
Aakash mentioned that Shaheen is a great player but according to his understanding, Shaheen will not be the one who would be performing well but rather, it is Haris Rauf who will be troubling Indian batters on October 23.
Chopra could also be seen praising Shaheen’s quality bowling in the Warm-up match against Afghanistan as the Pakistani pacer took two wickets for his team.
Rauf, meanwhile, bowled effectively and claimed two wickets of Afghanistan. Rauf also had the most wickets in the September home series against England.
Why would they be a threat to the Indian Team?
Pakistan’s pace attack including Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah are considered as one of the dangerous pace attacks in International Cricket. This could be witnessed in various previous International Cricket events.
To begin with Shaheen Shah Afridi, everyone must be aware of the damage he had done last year in the India-Pakistan encounter of the T20 World Cup 2021, by his rattling destruction of the openers’ wicket including KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, and Virat Kohli.Â
In addition to the fact, that India lost that match. In a recent match between India and Pakistan at the 2022 edition of the Asia Cup, Naseem Shah proved his worth.
