He faced legal issues for the role of Chitragupt, played by Ajay. The latest reports claim that the film has been banned in Kuwait. According to a leading entertainment portal, the film was not approved by the Censor Board when it decided to stop releasing it in Kuwait.
On the other hand, the Kuwait Censor Board approved “Chup” by Sunny Deol and Dulquer Salmaan and “Goodbye” by Rashmika Mandanna and Amitabh Bachchan.
Earlier, it was reported that a fringe group in Karnataka had called for the film to be banned for mocking religious sentiments. Reacting to the trailer, Hindu Janajagruti Samithi spokesman Mohan Gowda said that they will never tolerate Chitragupta and Lord Yama’s mockery of Hinduism as seen in the film.

They also asked the Censor Board not to issue a certificate for the film and ban “Thank God” for hurting religious sentiments. Meanwhile, the creators unveiled a new song called “Manike” featuring Nora Fatehi and Sidharth on Friday.
The duo looked enchanting in the song and fans poured their hearts out for them. The film is slated to release on October 24.
