Akshay Kumar calls the distribution between the North and South film industries the same as how the British divided and ruled. He adds that after this huge lesson from the British we haven’t still yet understood what it meant. We continue to divide are film industries into north and South whereas we can just call it the film industry.
He explains that if we work together as one industry, we all work much better and will be happier. He says that he doesn’t understand the word ‘pan India’ films as all he wants is the films to work and that’s it.
