The 33-year-old cricketer and former captain Virat Kohli’s unbeaten 64 off 44 balls took his T20 World Cup total to 1065 runs in just 23 innings. As Virat achieved the remarkable feat, his wife Anushka Sharma showered him with love in response to his outstanding performance and attained a new record. Virat Kohli also surpassed Sri Lankan cricketer Mahela Jayawardene, who had 1061 runs from 31 innings to become the leading run-scorer in the T20 World Cup.
Anushka Sharma expressed her happiness while sharing a picture of her TV screen of the happy moment along with the red heart emojis as soon as Virat Kohli scored fifty in 37 balls in India’s recent match against Bangladesh. After that, Anushka also shared a news article on her Instagram story about her husband Virat, who declared that her hubby had broken the record for most runs in T20.
