The 10th mini album by ATEEZ, THE WORLD EP. 2: OUTLAW, debuted at number 20 on the Hanteo Chart on June 20. When the album and its first single were released on June 16, one million copies had already been sold. With the release of THE WORLD EP. 2: OUTLAW, ATEEZ became the first boy band from the “BIG 4” to sell one million albums.
The Initial Chodong, or the number of album sales for a week following the release date, is a metric that assesses the strength of a K-pop idol group’s audience. By selling a million copies in the first week, ATEEZ showed how popular they were all over the world five years after their debut.
ATEEZ: The Band’s Beginnings
ATEEZ is a South Korean boy band that was created by KQ Entertainment. Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho are the other members of the group. The abbreviation ATEEZ stands for “A TEEnager Z” and “A to Z,” and it refers to a group of teens that want to achieve whatever they can with enthusiasm.

As the global fan base rapidly expanded, ATEEZ overtook THE WORLD EP. 1: MOVEMENT as the second Million Seller. They expanded more quickly than they did with their 2018 debut record, TREASURE EP. 1: All to Nothing.
This time, ATEEZ’s new record has a unique justification.
