The pharmaceutical company of Aurobindo is planning to spend almost ₹2 Crores to provide shelters for rape victims. The company is going to conduct the project under the slogan of “Gender Equality and Women Empowerment”.

Aurobindo Pharma Foundation is conducting a project to protect women and children as part of its CSR initiative under the slogan “Gender Equality and Women Empowerment”. With an estimate of ₹2 Crores of expenditure, the company has proceeded with the construction of a Bharosa center by organizing the Bhoomi Poojan ceremony in the Sangareddy district of Telangana.
The center is going to cover an area of 5,600 square feet. It provides numerous facilities for the multiple services offered at the Bharosa centers. Bharosa is an organisation for the safety of women Rape Victims and protection of their rights. They provide shelter for the women and children affected by violence and do a lot more for their welfare.
The center is to accommodate everyone who are needy. It will help the rape victim survivors who have been debarred from society. The center will consist of an Officer Room along with a Legal Support office, and a Statement Record Room.
