While several power couples wowed viewers at the Met Gala 2022 with their flawless chemistry and amazing ensembles, Austin Butler and Kaia Gerber stole the night with their official red-carpet debut.
According to Page Six, the 20-year-old model raised the glam quotient at this year’s fashion gala, which adhered to the “gilded splendor” dress code. She wore a lacy metallic gown by Alexander McQueen and exquisite jewelry by Kwiat. Butler, on the other hand, wore an all-black ensemble with an undone black tie draped over his shoulders. Â
While the pair first chose to walk the red carpet individually, they finally joined forces and enjoyed a red-carpet kiss. Kaia Gerber-Austin Butler dazzled on the Met Gala 2022 red carpet. Numerous netizens have shared photos and videos of the couple grinning from ear to ear while posing for the cameras.

They had previously spent Valentine’s Day in Paris. The supermodel was first linked to the Elvis star in December 2021, barely a month after she ended her relationship with Jacob Elordi of Euphoria. Kaia regarded Butler as a “sweetheart,” a source told Page Six at the time.
“They’re having a blast getting to know one another,” the statement continued. Meanwhile, Butler ended his relationship with Vanessa Hudgens, a nine-year-old, in January 2020. He was also briefly linked to Lily-Rose Depp, Johnny Depp’s daughter, last year.
Butler, for his part, ended his nearly nine-year relationship with ex-girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens—who cohosted Vogue’s 2022 Met Gala red carpet coverage. Â
However, during his April interview with Vogue, the Carrie Diaries alum gave a shout-out to the Grease actress, 33.”I was driving up through Griffith Park when Elvis’s “Blue Christmas” came on,” the California native explained when asked why he auditioned for the role of Elvis Presley.
“I was singing along when my pal had an epiphany: ‘You need to play Elvis,'”
he confirmed to the magazine.
