Along With The Newcomers, K-pop Group Nct’s Johnny Makes His Met Gala Debut This Year.

On May 2, the Met Gala returned to New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. The red-carpet dress code this year was white tie, and the theme was “Gilded Glamour,” a tribute to the exhibition “In America: An Anthology of Fashion.”

The star-studded affair drew a slew of celebrities, including Billie Eilish, Lori Harvey, Normani, Hillary Clinton, Gigi Hadid, Sophie Turner, and Joe Jonas, as well as hosts Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and Lin-Manuel Miranda.

As was the case last year, fashion designer Tom Ford, Instagram’s Adam Mosseri, and Anna Wintour served as honorary chairman. The live stream was hosted by Vanessa Hudgens and La Anthony.

However, some celebs made their Met Gala debuts this year. Whether it’s the internet’s favourite TikTok stars or our favourite movie stars, we’re sure to see a slew of familiar faces ascend the infamous red-carpet stairs.

Meanwhile, on the red carpet, well-dressed celebrities will try their best to adhere to the Gilded Glamour and White Tie dress standards, which invite guests to view late-nineteenth-century attire through a modern lens.

Given that the step and repeat is one of the most photographed dance moves in the world, you can anticipate the evening’s numerous actors, models, singers, and designers to bring their A-game in terms of fashion.

After all, the Met Gala has a long history of producing iconic ensembles that are seen worldwide—you can see every Met Gala look from the last decade here—and this year will undoubtedly be no exception. Be prepared for the unexpected.

Who is on the guest list for this evening? Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Regina King, and Lin-Manuel Miranda are this year’s official co-chairs, but you’ll have to wait and see who else joins them on the Met steps. Therefore, make sure to refresh this site throughout the evening to see all of your favourite stairs and their amazing Met Gala red carpet ensembles—you won’t want to miss them!

Regina King, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and Lin-Manuel Miranda are this year’s co-chairs of fashion’s most illustrious night. Additionally, the red carpet will have a new pair of hosts this year. Vanessa Hudgens and Lala Anthony, a television personality, will take us through all of the amazing red-carpet events.

Monday’s Met Gala is one of the few occasions when the internet comes together digitally to discuss the spectacular, humorous, and monumental moments the opulent night provides. As a fresh crop of celebrities join the elite few invited to the exclusive evening, a wave of newcomers is certain to make their mark.

Tommy Dorfman wore Christopher Kane, Maude Apatowis, star of “Euphoria,” wore a jewel-encrusted flapper gown, and American snowboarder and two-time Olympic gold champion Chloe Kim wore a white gown embellished with red feathers.

Kodi Smit-McPhee, an Australian actor and star of Netflix’s “The Power of the Dog,” wore red gloves with a white striped button-down and blue pants. Simone Ashley, the star of “Bridgerton,” is dressed in a Moschino ensemble, while Sydney Sweeney makes her Met Gala debut in Tory Burch.

After months of speculation, Johnny, a member of the K-pop boyband NCT, made his Met Gala debut this year. He became the group’s first member to attend the “Biggest Night of Fashion.” Numerous celebrities, including Kim Kardashian, Pete Davidson, Jung Ho Yeon of the Squid Game, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, and Hailey Bieber, turned heads with their unique avatars.

Johnny joins Rain, Psy, Siwon, and Lay as the fifth male K-pop sensation to attend the prestigious yearly event.

Following the theme of this year’s Met Gala, “In America: An Anthology of Fashion,” Johnny made a dramatic entrance at the event wearing a Peter Do designer suit. The 27-year-old singer can be seen meeting fans in many photographs and videos that have appeared online before to attending the VIP celebration at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Fans who have been waiting with bated breath for their favourite K-pop singer to attend with other foreign celebrities are pleased. They conveyed their joy on Twitter. “Johnny, you’re amazing,” one user said. “I’m freaking out!” exclaimed another.
