The 10 days religious festival; Attukal Pongala is celebrated yearly at Attukal Bhagavathy Temple in the capital of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram. Thousands of women gather in the state capital to participate in the festival and make ritual offerings, including sweet rice pudding, jaggery, grated coconut, ghee and banana. The Yogi government in order to promote electric vehicles has decided to provide some benefits for electronic vehicle buyers. In a recent notification released, the government has decided to exempt the road tax and the registration fees on the purchase of electronic vehicles for a period of three years from October 14, 2022, onwards. This exemption would be valid for a period of five years on the purchase of state manufactured electronic vehicles. Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated Rozgar Mela in Uttarakhand to encourage active participation from youth in the employment sector in order to reduce the effect of global economic crises faced by Indian youth in the post-pandemic era.
