Revolución Ciudadana’s local leader Pedro Briones was assassinated in the park of San Mateo parish, Esmeraldas, as per the reports released by the Ecuadorian police in their statements issued to the local media. Two Undergraduates arrested

Two undergraduate students studying at Jadavpur University were arrested on Sunday. Both of them are second-year students detained after being suspected in the death case of an 18-year-old student who had recently joined the university. Freedom Filling Station India’s first women-run retail petrol outlet was inaugurated in Chennai by S Reghupathy, Tamil Nadu’s Minister for Law, Courts and Prisons, on Thursday. The retail petrol outlet has been named ‘Freedom Filling Station’ and is located near the Special Prison for Women in Puzhal Central Jail, Chennai. The news of contaminated cold syrups being sold by an Indian company in Iraq came to light when Bloomberg News tested the syrup’s purchased sample from a Baghdad pharmacy in March this year.
