On Sunday, Biden convened a meeting of the National Security Council to discuss the situation in Ukraine. The meeting was attended by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, and other NSC members.Â
According to a statement released by the Kremlin on Sunday, Macron and Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the developments in Ukraine and progress regarding long-term legal security assurances for the Russian Federation.Â
