Salman Khan’s latest Eid release Kisi ka Bhai Kisi ki Jaan is struggling to make it into the blockbuster lineup and has the second lowest opening day of first-day opening among his other Eid releases. As far as the box office collection goes, Dabangg was the first movie to record the lowest collection, while Bharat collected the most. We have to wait till Monday before deciding what the fate of this movie will be.
About the Film-
This film promises you a full entertaining family movie with a dash of Bollywood masala. It has family drama, action, love angles, brotherhood and gives us a happy ending like most of Bhaijaan’s movies. This is a multi starrer movie and features Pooja Hegde, Palak Tiwari, (daughter of famous TV actor Shweta Tiwari) and Shehnaaz Gill, who gained fame after appearing in Bigg Boss season 13, making their first movie debut, TV actor and social media influencer Siddharth Nigam, Actor dancer and tv anchor Raghav Juval, along with big names from the South Indian industry like Ram Charan and Daggabati Venkatesh makes up the cast. We will also witness some cameo roles in the film.

The story revolves around how Bhaijaan raises three orphan boys- Luv, Ishq, and Moh- who later fall in love but decide not to marry because their Bhaijaan sacrifices his love and decides to stay single even in the film. The brothers went on a mission to find Bhaijaan’s ex lover Bhagya, who is played by Bhagyashree herself, giving us a montage of “Maine pyaar kiya”, making it one of the best scenes of the film, but found that she is already married and has a kid. Meanwhile, Salman Khan’s character finds another Bhagya and falls in love with her, whose character is played by Pooja Hegde.
The movie seems to be going in different directions and logic is clearly lacking, however, after the intermission, scenes are relatively better. But too many action scenes render the movie absurd after a point.
Despite being a multi star cast, the movie relies on Salman Khan’s charm and fan base.Regarding the songs or the music, hardly much is worth mentioning. However, the dance moves and Salman’s Lungi looks are killer. Tere Bina, Bhathukamma and Naiyo Lagda are one of the few songs that gained attention. The total viewing experience of the movie can be characterised as a sociological experiment, and the ultimate judgement can be reached by this weekend’s end.
How did the audience feel about the Film: A Yay or a Nay?
The film has received some mixed responses post its release this weekend. Some viewers say that despite the film’s large star ensemble, they could only sense Bhaijaan’s character’s vitality as the primary source and that the other actors only appeared in cameos. While some viewers thought it was admirable that an effort has been made to give the film a touch of south Indian culture by giving Venkatesh’s action counterparts in the second half of the movie and Salman’s lungi appearances, giving the movie a Pan-Indian feel.
Some viewers gave the film a rating between 2 and 2.5 out of 5, saying “Iss baar ki Eidi mein wo baat nahi thi,” while others said it was a smash blockbuster with fantastic action sequels and family values. Some even compared the film’s success to Pathaan. Fans of Salman Khan are delighted to see him on a large screen, and the movie’s premier around Eid may boost its box office performance.
