Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor join SS Rajmouli for Brahmastra’s poster launch in Hyderabad. The Brahmastra team gathered in Hyderabad to launch its Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada posters, following the colossal success of the Hindi poster launch in Delhi.
On Saturday morning, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, director Ayan Mukerji and producer Karan Johar arrived to launch the poster. While Alia Bhatt looked stunning in a blue sequin jacket and matching mini skirt, Ranbir Kapoor wore a maroon tee and jeans. SS Rajamouli wore check shirt and trousers, and Nagarjuna opted for casual black attire. Karan Johar and Ayan looked classy as usual in the event. In the event, the director Ayan Mukherji talked about the film, and the actors shared their experiences while shooting. Mukherji was all praised for SS Rajmouli, saying he was a great fan of the latter.
Alia praised her co-star Nagarjuna as an actor, remembering their shooting days in Bulgaria. We got to know that Brahmastra features Ranbir Kapoor in a never-seen-before avatar. The story revolves around Kapoor, who plays the role of Shiva, who has the power to create fire from his palms.
Shiva gains the ability to move back in time (in the era of Mahabharat, i.e., 3000 years back). There, he gains the knowledge of Bhrahmastra, which is needed in the present age. Brahmastra also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles.
Shah Rukh Khan, too, will appear in the film as a scientist.Brahmastra is the first film in the trilogy. SS Rajmouli shared the poster on his social media handles and captioned it as: “Glad to be presenting Brahmastra Part One: Shiva in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. Hope you like the Motion Poster and everything from #Brahmastra that comes after this.” The film is all set to release on 9th September 2022.
Reportedly, SS Rajamouli failed to recognise Alia Bhatt in the event as the actress donned a completely different outfit as he was used to seeing her in. Bhatt got emotional while talking about the franchise and said: “7 years of our lives have gone into breathing this film as an emotion.
Today we are standing here in the hope that you will come to feel of this film as one of your own. We open the doors to Brahmastra to all of you with the aspiration that the film will find a very beautiful place in your hearts.” Talking about the film, SS Rajamouli said that he was “proud” to be associated with Dharma Films. Rajamouli said: “Ayan’s vision is a new chapter in Indian cinema. I am proud to be associated with Dharma Productions once again after ‘Baahubali’. Karan has a profound understanding and sensibility for good films and I feel proud to partner with him again, and with Fox Star Studios to present this film.”
