South Korea: BTS Members are starting New Chapters in their Artist journey by focusing on their individual projects. The Beginning is with Jhope’s Next Solo Album ‘Jack in the Box’. Jhope is the Lead dancer and Rapper in BTS also the richest member in the Boy Band.
On 25th June 2022, Big hit Music announced the release of Jhope’s Next Solo Album in July. According to the Official Announcement, the Album ‘Jack in the box’ is about Jhope’s aspiration to break the mold and grow further.
This album is also about Jhope’s Musical Personality and Vision as an Artist. In announcement of his new album in this earlier month, Jhope said that he sees this project as an healthy step.
He said, “I hope you don’t see this as a negative thing and see it as an healthy plan. I think BTS will become stronger that way.” He also added, “I think we should spend some time apart to learn how to be one again”.
Earlier this Month, the Boy Band released their Official Anthology Album “Proof”. The Album became their sixth album to top the billboard 200 Chart. After Few days of the release, the Boy Band announced that they will be focusing on their solo careers but will continue to work as an group.
The Album was sold over 2 Million Copies in the first week of release and is in top 5 most sold albums in the U.S. There were total 3 Disks in the Album with over 40 Songs.
Soon after Announcing about Jhope’s upcoming album ‘Jack in the box’. The Lead Dancer in BTS posted “Lets Go” on Weverse expressing his excitement for the Album. The Pre-released track will be released in July 1st, followed by all the tracks on July 15.
Jhope previous Singles like ‘Chicken Noodle Soup’ feat. Becky G. was a super hit and popular song. Also in 2018, Jhope released a debut mixtape “Hope World”. The Album achieved #38 position on Billboard 200 Chart. This Made Jhope to be the highest charting Korean soloist at the time of release.
