K-pop sensation BTS’s agency, Big Hit Music announced, on Friday that BTS member Jin’s performance has been reduced throughout the tour ahead of the much-anticipated ‘Permission To Dance’ concerts in Los Angeles through Reverse. Jin’s performance has been reduced by the band’s agency due to his recent surgery after injuring his left index finger. BTS is in Las Vegas for their ‘Permission To Dance On Stage’ tour, which includes four in-person concerts.
They are performing at Allegiant Stadium on April 8-9 and April 15-16, although Jin’s appearance will be restricted. The statement which was released on Friday, stated, “It was the opinion of the medical personnel that Jin should refrain from vigorous movement as any impact on his finger due to the number of activities increased more than necessary, while he is still recovering from the injury, may cause another surgery.”
The statement continued to mention, “While the artist himself strongly wished to participate in the performance in full, our company has decided to follow physician advice and minimize Jin’s movements during the BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LAS VEGAS concerts on all the above-mentioned dates (April 8, 9, 15, 16). As a result, Jin’s choreography and stage performance will be limited to a certain extent. We ask for your understanding and support from all our fans.”
BTS’s fans, ARMYs reacted positively to the move and wished the BTS member good health. As one person put it, “That’s okay, take your time Jin, your health always comes first. Wishing you a fast recovery.” Other fans commented that his presence is more than enough.
In the meantime, Las Vegas has become purple in preparation for BTS’s performance. The Bellagio’s Fountains in Las Vegas also offered the band and their fans a warm welcome with a BTS-themed fountain performance that included their English singles Butter and Dynamite.
To welcome BTS to the city, several properties were lit up in purple with signage stating Borahaegas. During a concert in 2016, BTS member V coined the name Borahae, with Bora being the Korean word for Violet. Because purple is the last color of the rainbow, “Borahae,” or “I Purple You,” implies “I’ll love you till the end of days.” Borahaegas is the combination of ‘Borahae’ and ‘Las Vegas.’
Fans can still watch BTS’ “Permission to Dance On Stage” performances online on, even if all of the locations are sold out through their official online live streaming on the 17th of April.
Date and Time for the 4 days concert, according to Indian timezone:
