The K-pop sensation BTS will hold its first-ever concert in Busan on October 15. The BTS Band will be performing in Gijang to initiate the bid for the upcoming World Expo 2030. This concert will be their first concert in South Korea since March.
The World Expo 2030 is the largest international extravaganza globally, right after World Cup and Olympics. The contenders to host the World Expo 2030 are South Korea, Ukraine, Russia, Italy, and Saudi Arabia.
In addition, the candidates for the World Expo 2030 are Busan, Riyadh, Odessa, and Rome. The results and the winner will be announced in November 2024.

For the concert, a makeshift stage is reportedly installed in Gijang, Nothern Busan, where approximately 100,000 attendees will be present.
Apart from this, the live concert will be projected on a massive screen in Busan’s Port International Passenger Terminal’s parking space. The parking lot has a capacity to accommodate 10,000 people. Moreover, they won’t be any admission fees charged.
The event is also expected to live stream on the internet via several social media platforms. The BTS concert is scheduled for October 15 in Gijang, Busan.
“We will make extra efforts to not only support the bid but also promotes the beautiful nature and culture of the Republic of Korea worldwide.” said the K-pop superstars last month.
The septet BTS group is famous worldwide and has collaborated with several renowned singers and songwriters such as Coldplay, Charlie Puth, etc.
