CM Yogi Adityanath’s comments emerged today as UP went into phase 2 of the seven-phase election.

These decisions are being taken to ensure justice, honor, and empowerment of the daughters of India. We can only say that the system will not work as per the Shariat but will work as per the Constitution.

Asaduddin Owaisi had released a statement earlier saying that ‘wearing hijab is a fundamental right and that one day a hijab-wearing girl will become the Prime Minister.’
The Karnataka HC is set to resume hearing the hijab case on February 14, 2:30 PM.
Schools in Karnataka were reopened today after a meeting between the local administration and leaders was held on Sunday evening to ensure communal harmony.
Raghupati Bhat– local BJP MLA, Pradeep Kurdekar– Tehsildar of Udupi, and ST Siddalingappa– Additional Superintendent of Police presided over the meeting, the result being all political parties and religious agreeing to follow the administration guidelines.
“We held a taluka meeting in Udupi, and it was decided to maintain communal harmony in Udupi as before. There were all of the political party leaders and community leaders present.
It was decided to wear uniforms wherever they are required, but in schools and colleges where uniforms are not required, they can wear what they were previously wearing.
Unless the court orders otherwise. Wherever there is a uniform code, it will be followed,” Raghupati Bhat said.
The results of the UP election will be declared on March 10.
