“Rajol Singh killed my daughter in their ashram and buried her there,”
the woman’s mother told media on Thursday. He had previously visited the ashram. Except for the multiple building, they showed us around. I contacted a local police officer’s phone, but he hung up. He would have found my daughter alive if he had come.”Â
The rape victim’s father was also imprisoned under the Arms Act during the investigation. He eventually died in police custody as a result of suspected mistreatment.Â
The Unnao rape survivor, her family, and her lawyer were hit by a truck on their route from Unnao to Rae Bareli to meet her uncle in July 2019.
