Our lazyness has been celebrated..!!!!
National Lazy Days
Today August 10 was celebrated as National Lazy Day. And it’s marvellous to celebrate your heart at home by just ignoring all your daily stressful routine being a couch potato and doing nothing the whole long day. This day urges people to be available and does nothing, and it gives emphasis to the importance of taking a break to loosen up a bit from our hectic life.
But can we honestly do it? “No, not sure, not possible, we can’t take off from our work, How could I ask for a leave, for this reason, Do you want us to be fired?” These were answers I got when I asked to celebrate the lazy day. I, myself don’t want to get off from my schedule.
Truth be told we all think a break from hectic life. Want to have a vacation or just want to have a cosy date with some classic movies? We use these Decades-old movies, songs and video games as coping agents to boost ourselves.
The flooded in popularity over this pandemic of covid. Psychologists also say remembering good memories during stressful times is healthy. The people are way back to old favourites not just because they are free to watch or do. These films and songs offer comfort to us.
One reason films from the 90s hold such appeal is that they seem to represent a simpler, more innocent time which is close to reality. Not only the movies, the games like Mario, Duck shoot, etc it’s still cherished.
This National Lazy day wishes you all cherish the memories. And sure, only after your work.
But if you consider yourself a couch potato or a lazy person then it’s a day for you!!
