Disha Patani, due to her bold reel image, enjoys a strong fan following. She is all set to make her Kollywood debut. Bollywood actor Disha Patani, who was last seen in the movie Ek Villain Returns, is elated to be a part of the film tentatively titled Suriya 42, which stars Tamil star Suriya.
Disha will be sharing the screen space with superstar Suriya in the movie directed by Siva. The teaser of the new film Suriya 42 gave a glimpse into the larger-than-life period drama, which was released on Friday.
Suriya on one hand seems to be portraying the character of a prince but nothing has been revealed about Disha Patani’s character.
In the teaser released on Friday, he is seen on the top of a hill observing a war. Disha Patani seems to be very excited about the new film. She shared her excitement about being a part of the film and she said in a statement, “I am super kicked to announce my next with Suriya sir and Siva sir. It feels great to be a part of such a huge project that has got all the larger-than-life elements for the audience to experience on the big screen. Moreover, the character that I am playing is also quite unique and I am also excited to bring my never seen before avatar to the audience.”
Superstar Suriya had also taken to his social media handles to announce Suriya 42. He tweeted, “We seek all your good wishes as we begin our adventure!” The makers of the film announced that the film will release in 10 languages in 3D format.
Music for the film Suriya 42 is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, who was praised for his work in Pushpa The Rise which starred Allu Arjun.
On the work front, ad role, and Project K alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone. actor Disha Patani was last seen in the film Ek Tha Villain Returns playing a negative role. Other than this, Disha will also be seen in the film Yodha, produced by Karan Johar, also starring Sidharth Malhotra in lead role, and Project K alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone.
