Divyang park is being inaugurated today in Nagpur


Ministry of social justice and empowerment, government of India organized A ‘Samajik Adhikarita Shivir’ for distribution of aids and assistive devices to Senior citizens under ‘Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana’ (RVY Scheme) and to ‘Divyangjan’ under the ADIP Scheme by the department of SJ&E in association with ALIMCO, by Nagpur municipal corporation today in reshimbagh ground in Nagpur.

In this function the chief guest was present was union minister of road transport and highway minister Nitin Gadkari. He inaugurated the distribution camp and distributed the aids to the people and assistive devices to divyangian and sr. citizens was present Dr. Virendra Kumar, union mister of social justice and empowerment.

A total of 241200 aids and helpful devices price Rs. 3483 lakhs are going to be distributed freed from price underneath central Government theme to 27356 Senior voters and 7780 Divyangjan beneficiaries.

Speaking on the occasion Union Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari mentioned that serving the person happiness to marginalized section of the society and the one WHO stand’s last within the que should get advantage of government theme to empower them is that the aim of our Government.

He extended his feeling towards Dr. Virendra Kumar, Union Minister of Social Justice & authorisation for Implementing welfare schemes underneath his Ministry in Nagpur town.

Addressing the gathering Dr. Virendra Kumar declared that Ministry has provided all potential support to establish the primary “Divyang Park” of Maharashtra in Nagpur and the work towards this endeavour is going to be started shortly. “Divyang Park” can have completely different facilities for Divyangjans like sensory garden, textile Pathway bit and smell garden, talent coaching facility, rehabilitation facility, Sports & pic etc

Chair, 64 Smart Phone, 6436 Cervical Collar, 211 Callipers other major items for Sr. Citizens includes 13 Foot Care units, 1585 Tri Pod, 1247 Spinal Support, 8107 LS Belt, 213 Wheelchair with Commode, 7677 Chair Stool with Commode, 7855 Silicon Foam Cushion, 03 Walking Stick with Seat, 581 Walker, 4763 Spectacles, 16168 Knee Braces, 935 Denture
