The Drishyam 2 trailer has been released. It’s a sequel to the 2015 hit-film Drishyam, directed by the National Award Winner late Nishikant Kamat. Drishyam 2 is a Hindi-language mystery-thriller film. This film is a remake of the 2021 Malayalam film of the same name.
This film is directed by Abhishek Pathak and stars Ajay Devgan, Tabu, Shriya Sharan, Ishita Dutt, and Akshay Khanna.
The sequel to Drishyam has been the talk of the town ever since it was in the making. It has all the elements to make this movie a complete edge-of-the-seat thriller.
A Summary of Drishyam (2015):
This film is about the story of a 4th-grade failed cable operator, Vijay Salgaonkar, who loves his family and goes to any extent to protect them. One day, her elder daughter (Anju) accidentally kills a boy (I.G. Meera Deshmukh’s son), who blackmails her, and Vijay tries to protect her daughter. So, he removes all the traces of evidence and disposes of the body. On the other hand, I.G, Meera is searching for her son. She tries to extract the truth from them but fails and resigns from the police service. It was an amazing Hindi suspense thriller.
About the ‘Drishyam 2’ Trailer:
The film will continue the story of Vijay Salgaonkar and his family after 7 years. The trailer begins with Ajay Devgn (Vijay Salgaonkar) saying that his family is being harassed for the disappearance of Sam (I.G. Meera Deshmukh’s son) even after 7 years. Akshay Khanna, who is playing the character of the new investigating officer in this case, is trying to expose Vijay’s lie but facing the same hurdles in finding the evidence. Then Tabu (Meera Deshmukh), the former I.G., and Sam’s mother, enters the film, and takes part in the investigation once again and, this time will not underestimate the 4th-grade failed illiterate, again.
This film will hit theatres on November 18, 2022. Drishyam 2 is not just for family entertainment but also an edge-of-the-seat thriller.
