Ananya Panday released a video on Instagram in which Farah Khan congratulated her that she had received the National Award for Khali Peeli.
Actress Ananya Panday was almost fooled into believing she had won the National Award for Khali Peeli. In a humorously exaggerated video uploaded by the actor, choreographer-filmmaker Farah Khan rushes into the dressing room and announces, “Ananya, you got the National Award for Khali Peeli.”
Farah interrupts Ananya’s joyful screams by declaring, “I was joking,” copying Chunky Panday’s character Aakhri Pasta from the Housefull series.
“50 rupya Kaat overacting ke ? always the funnest time with @farahkhankunder ?.”
Ananya captioned the video.
The following Instagram conversation was even more interesting. “You should get the award for overacting in this video,” Ananya’s father, Chunky Panday, commented.
Farah Khan hit back at Chunky Panday after he criticized the filmmaker for her acting chops. “Apni Beti ko sambhal Pehle (Handle your daughter first),” Farah Khan responded. Bhavana Panday added multiple laughing emojis to her reply.
She is now anticipating the release of Liger, a film starring Vijay Deverakonda and shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu. Puri Jagannadh, who is also one of the producers alongside Karan Johar and Charmme Kaur, directed the film.
Ananya Panday will be seen in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan and Liger in the near future. Gehraiyaan and Khaali Peeli were her most recent films. In 2019, she made her acting debut in Student of the Year 2.
