Kalyani Singh was sent to imprisonment in the murder case of Sippy Sidhu.

Kalyani Singh got arrested of killing 35 yrs. old Sippy Sidhu (Sukh Manpreet Singh Sidhu), a national –level shooter and advocate, on Wednesday. Kalyani Singh is a daughter of Himachal Pradesh high court judge.
WHOLE STORY.
An unfortunate incident took place in the year 2015 when Sippy Sidhu was short dead in a park in Chandigarh’s sector 27 in sept 2015. Both Kalyani and Sippy had a close relationship but the family rejected their proposal of marrying each other.
The case was handed over to the CBI and in the investigation. CBI found evidence against Kalyani Singh, she was present at the park when the killing happened also, she was seen running away along with unknown shooters in the park. Also, CBI found inappropriate pictures leaked to the parents and friends of Kalyani Singh. She felt angry and embarrassed with the incident took place with her keeping that in mind she hired shooters and, in the evening, she called him and then the actual killing happened. Sippy was shot four times with a 12-bore gun, a car was found in the site and also with the help of last four-digit car registration number. According to CBI a poly graph test was conducted where she answered all the questions related to the murder.
REGARDING THE CUSTODY.
CBI managed to take over the custody of Kalyani Singh of four days to interrogate her to identify the shooters and also CBI recovered the weapons and vehicles. At the end of the case CBI presented all the evidence and found them guilty of the murder. In the case the advocate of Kalyani Singh did not accept the moves of CBI and demanded the grounds of the evidence. The defense counsel demanded a proposal to be present with Kalyani Singh during the investigation. She was allowed to meet his lawyer and wear her own clothes.
MEDIA ROLE.
Sippy Siddhu’s family thanked the media for keeping the case alive and constantly updating the public about the case. They said “we are happy and hopeful of getting justice now”. The CBI accepted our point in the murder case, said Deepinder Kaur Sindhu, mother of Sippy Sidhu.
