Famous Disney characters are used in the streetwear-inspired collection to create a variety of looks for the brand H&M.
The most recent partnership between H&M is commemorating an important occasion.
The Swedish clothing brand is collaborating with GucciGhost, a well-known artist who goes by Trevor Andrew, to create a streetwear-inspired collection for Disney’s 100th anniversary.
A variety of styles are available in the men’s and women’s collections, including varsity jackets, polo shirts, sweatshirts, T-shirts, and more. Beginning on July 20, stores will start selling the collection, and online.Â
On the styles of the products, there are prints and images of well-known Disney characters including Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Donald Duck. By incorporating his distinctive ghost and flying egg emblems, Andrew added his own look to the Disney images.
Andrew’s artwork for the Disney collaboration will be on display in H&M’s Williamsburg, Brooklyn, location from July 20 through August 23 as part of a celebration of the collection.
This year’s celebration of Disney’s 100th anniversary includes the newest fashion label. Earlier this year, a number of companies, including Givenchy, Vera Bradley, Tommy Hilfiger, and Karl Lagerfeld, developed capsule collections to celebrate the company’s anniversary.Â
Limited-edition skateboards are being sold by the Swedish clothing brand as part of the collection for the first time. The skateboards include a hand-painted Disney emblem that Andrew created that features the Disney characters.Â
Additionally, the Swedish clothing brand’s Disney collection is the company’s most recent significant venture this year. Following its much anticipated debut at a fashion event in New York City in April, H&M’s partnership with Mugler was finally made public in May.
23 different clothing and accessory items are available in the H&M and Disney partnership. The range of prices is $5.99 to $135.
