Gujarat assembly elections 2022 results will be out today. The counting of votes began early in the morning and it is likely that the BJP is going to secure a big win. The initial counting of votes is showing the BJP taking a double lead over congress. The congress party in Gujarat assembly elections 2022 stood its ground. The AAP, which defeated BJP in the MCD elections 2022, is also making its presence felt in Gujarat.

BJP leading on 150 seats, in initial trends

The BJP has taken a lead on more than 150 seats and it is likely that the BJP is going to form a government in Gujarat with a clear majority. PM Narendra Modi himself campaigned day and night for the BJP and Home Minister Amit Shah handled the party’s internal politics and also supervised ticket distribution. BJP was said to be facing anti- incumbency against the government as the central party leadership changed two Chief Ministers and reshuffled the ministry two times. Now, it is clear that if by any chance the BJP gets defeated, it would be very unexpected that BJP will lose.

Congress loosing  its ground, trailing on more than 150 seats

The Congress party in Gujarat assembly elections 2022 campaigned on ground level and in villages. The congress leaders were confident that they would make a strong comeback.

Though, they did not make any claims of forming a government but they were confident about giving BJP a tough fight. The congress party is just leading on 19 + seats as of 10 AM, in the initial trends. These results can be very disappointing for the congress party leaders who were trying a new strategy. And, also the congress leaders kept congress star campaigner  Rahul Gandhi out of Gujarat assembly elections 2022.

The congress party won 77 seats in the Gujarat assembly elections 2018 but the party has not got the expected results in the initial trends of the Gujarat assembly elections 2022. As the day passes, the congress seats are expected to be increasing as the village seats can change the current trends scenario.

AAP going to open its account in Gujarat Assembly elections 2022

The Aam Aadmi Party is leading on 8+ seats as of the initial trends as counting begins in Gujarat Assembly Elections 2022. The AAP fought these elections with big rallies of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and other senior party leaders.

The Aam Aadmi party was accused of ‘vote katua (vote cutter)‘ of the congress party and it has proven that. While the congress is trailing, AAP leaders are securing votes in villages and cities. This time AAP is making its ground and it can secure some seats in the general assembly elections 2024 in Gujarat.
