Former Fulham player and Liverpool’s 19-year-old wonder kid has decided to commit his future with the red side of the Merseyside Liverpool. Elliot produced moments of mastery before suffering a long-term ankle injury last season.
The young prodigy appeared for the senior red side for 22 times last season. During that tenure he was quite prominent for Liverpool. The German head coach of Liverpool Jurgen Klopp seems to be very keen to have this youngster in his squad.
Reportedly, Liverpool has rejected multiple offers for Harvey from Top-established clubs of Europe. As per the report from Daily Mail, Jurgen Klopp is really keen to keep the young player at the club.
Despite signing a renewal in last July, now 19-year-old Harvey Elliot is all set to sign a contract extension with the club which will keep the player at the club till 2027.
Harvey Elliot has been with Liverpool for only three years, but what if I tell you this is going to be his third contract extension. After joining from Fulham in 2019 and then getting an extended deal 13 months ago.
Liverpool financial structure forced them to sign a contract extension with this young lad. Liverpool has this policy of signing contract extension with the players who have impressed them in their short tenure and they want to keep such players for longer period at the club.
After signing contract extension Harvey said “ It’s always nice to know that I am going to be here for many more years, which is always a great thing with it being my boyhood club and there is nothing in this world that makes me more happy and excited than this.”

Jurgen Klopp has said he’s reluctant to sign another midfielder as he wants to see the English trio of Carvalho, Elliot and Curtis Jones to flourish for Liverpool for the future.
