When we hear or consider the word “positive,” most people probably think “happy.” However, happiness isn’t the sole style of positivity. There are many ways to be more positive in your life, even when you’re experiencing despondency, annoyance, or provocation. In this world, it’s not easy to remain positive all the time but there’s something that will cause you to be positive and happy. As positivity spreads happiness and happiness are the most significant part of every individual’s life.
How to stay positive and happy all the time ??
There is no hard and fast rule for becoming a positive person. Positivity depends on perception and each individual has its own and different perception.
# Accept Yourself
Yes, the primary thing is that you just need to accept yourself. You can not change yourself but you’ll be able to mould yourself in line with things. Try to not judge yourself for your thoughts or feelings. The thoughts that pop or sentiments you experience aren’t inherently good or bad, they’re just thoughts and feelings. What you can control is how you elucidate and respond to them.
Accept the things about yourself that you can’t change, too.
For example, if you’re an introvert who needs quiet time alone to recharge, trying to be an extrovert all the time will probably just make you feel drained and unhappy.
Accept yourself for who you are right now, just as you are. You can then feel free to develop that self into the most positive self you can be!
# Make proper goals
Start small with your goals. Don’t shoot for the moon right away. Slow and steady wins the race. Make your goals specific. The goal to be more positive is great, but it’s so huge you probably won’t have any idea how to start. Instead, set smaller specific goals, like “Meditate twice a week” or “Smile at a stranger once a day.
# Make a personal diary / Journal
Sometimes it’s not easy to share your problems or feelings with your friends or with your family members. So try to make your personal diary where you can share your feelings without any hindrance. Remember to include the positive things in your journal.
# Self affirmation
Self-affirmations may seem a little cheesy, but research suggests that they work on a fundamental level; they can actually form new “positive thought” neuron clusters. Whatever makes you feel positive and tranquil about yourself, do it .
# Exercise
Getting some exercise is good for your physical as well as for your mental peace. If you don’t have sufficient time for exercise then don’t worry just do at least 30-35 min exercise per day. It will help you a lot. You can also see How can you improve your teen’s mental health?
