Hrithik Roshan says Krrish is inspired from Lord of the Rings 


Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan revealed in a recent interview that his movie series Krrish is inspired by The Lord of the Rings. On the day of Thursday, Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan and actress Tamannaah Bhatia met the star cast of The Lord of the Rings at an event. At that event, Hrithik Roshan said how his movie series Krrish got inspiration from the Hollywood movie The Lord of the Rings.

At that event, Hrithik Roshan said that the idea of turning his hit movie “Koi… Mil Gaya” into a franchise came to his father Rakesh Roshan’s mind after binge-watching the movie Lord of the Rings.

Hrithik Roshan also added that his father Rakesh Roshan directed all the three films of the Krrish franchise and they also wanted to expand the idea of the same and to make a universe of the same, just like the author JRR Tolkien had done in his books.

This is how the Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan opened up about the Krrish franchise at a special event ahead of the release of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. This will be available on Amazon Prime. 

Hrithik Roshan shared that in the year 2004, his father Rakesh Roshan watched the first part of the movie Lord of the Rings and he really liked it. He also watched the second and third parts as well. After that, his father, Rakesh Roshan, called him and said he wanted to make a movie like this by expanding their previously released favorite and successful movie Koi… Mil Gaya. The actor said that if there is no Lord of the Rings then there is no Krrish. 

In an event actor Hrithik Roshan has a company of actress Tamannaah Bhatia and creator JD Payne, along with the series cast of the Lord of the Rings which have Rob Aramayo, Maxim Baldry, Markella Kavenagh, Charles Edwards, Lloyd Owen, Megan Richards, Nazanin Boniadi, Ema Horvath, Tyrone Muhafidin and Sara Zwangobani.
