Popular TV actress Sara Khan revealed that while in a relationship with Ali Merchant she was cheated on multiple times.
Ali Merchant has recently entered the reality show Lock Up as the 14th contestant. His wildcard entry is set to spice up drama in the jail owing to his history with fellow contestants and ex-wife Sara Khan.
In the latest promo released for the show, Sara Khan can be seen frustrated and upset with her ex’s entry into the show.
Sara Khan is an Indian actress and model from Bhopal who rose to fame with her role as Sadhna in the Star Plus show Babul ka Bidaai. The young actress participated in the 4th season of the TV reality show Bigg Boss in 2010.
Her then-boyfriend, Ali Merchant, entered the show as a wildcard contestant, and the couple later tied the knot on the same show on national television. However, they got divorced the following year.
Twelve years later, the two are face to face again in yet another reality show, Lock upp. Hosted by Kangana Ranaut, “Lock upp: Badass Jail Atyachaari” is a captive TV reality show streamed 24×7 on Alt Balaji and MxPlayer on their respective platforms.
In the latest episode, the two participants can be seen sharing their side of the story of their failed marriage. Answering fellow contestant Karanvir Bohra’s question about what went wrong between the couple, Sara shared, “He was the first guy in my life.
I fell for him and then we started dating. At one point, we had a lot of differences. I was cheated on a lot of times. I used to forgive, forget and get back. At one point, I decided I was just going to move ahead in life. I was 17 when I fell for him. And it is difficult to forget someone when you fall for them at that age. “
Addressing her last stint with Ali back in 2010, she said, “Then I went to Bigg Boss. He entered without my knowledge. He started manipulating me, saying I was not playing the game well. My bond with Ashmeet is seen in the wrong way.
He convinced me I was looking like a fool outside. Everything would be fine, he said, if we got married in the house.I thought if that’s what it takes, then let’s do it. I was very stupid. We came out of the house and he again started cheating on me.

Simultaneously, in a conversation with Payal Rohtagi, Ali revealed his side of the story. He said: “I was 23 at that time. Our generation at that time was very nave and immature. So, I thought it would be a nice opportunity to make history as the first couple to get married on the reality show (Bigg Boss).
And when two people are in love, the next step is to get married. Before the show, we lived there for two years. She was living in my house. After I came out of the BB house, I realised there were a lot of issues between our families.
Main pagal ho gaya tha. I couldn’t figure out what to do. Even in the BB house, I saw there was still a link-up between her and Ashmeet. Then I went to Delhi. I was in a club when I got carried away. I met a girl. We spoke over the phone. And I got carried away, and I regretted it a lot. “
