In India, 3,800 additional Covid-19 cases are said to have been recorded over the past 24 hours. According to the health ministry data, it is being said that the Covid case has risen by 27 percent as compared to yesterday’s case.
In India, there has been a slight drop in the number of everyday coronavirus cases. The number of current instances of Corona cases increased to over 16,000 for the first time. The Union Health Ministry’s data analysis, which was revised on Saturday, indicated that the nation had added 2,995 new instances the day before.
Kerala, Rajasthan, Delhi, and Haryana are among the locations that recorded one fatality each in 24 hours, with Kerala reconciling one of them.
There are now 4,41,71,551 Corona survivors, and the overall rate of mortality is 1.19 per cent.
With 18,389 instances, the current cases make up 0.04 percent of the total cases. The health ministry’s official website states that the Covid-19 nationwide recovery rate was 98.77%.
The website for the health ministry reports that, as of this writing, the countrywide vaccination campaign has given out 220.66 crore doses of the Covid vaccine.
In India, the number of active instances of Covid-19 is increasing. Numerous states and UTs are urging people to follow the Covid-19 prevention guidelines.
Several states and UTs, including Delhi, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Goa, and Haryana, have seen an increase in instances in recent days. Maharashtra recorded 669 illnesses on Saturday, while Delhi recorded over 400 new cases.
The Tamil Nadu Health Ministry announced on Saturday that it will examine all public hospitals in the state for two days starting on April 10 in order to improve the infrastructure to handle the challenges posed by the rise in Covid cases and other illnesses.
The Haryana government also earlier this week released new instructions and requested that all medical institutions document the travel history of any suspected case who has travelled to a region or nation where the virus has been detected. This was in reaction to the Covid cases migrating north.
There has been a new coronavirus warning released in Delhi due to the increase in Covid cases in India and the capital. The Delhi Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) administration has now presented a new recommendation to manage the Covid issue in the nation.
Health Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj held a news briefing in the middle of the increase in Corona cases in Delhi, saying that there is no need to worry and advising everyone to wear masks when entering public spaces, particularly hospitals.
Given the recent rise in cases across the country, Dr. Arvind Kumar, the head of the Institute of Chest Surgery at Medanta Hospital, has recommended people wear masks, follow precautions, and get a Corona test if they experience symptoms.
“With the increase in tests, the number of Corona cases has also increased,” Dr. Arvind said in a statement to a news outlet. The good news in this scenario is that the instances that are emerging do not appear to be any more serious cases. Staying at home is helping them heal quickly.
According to him, there was a shortage of oxygen in the nation during the second Covid-19 surge, and the patients who were arriving needed oxygen.
“However, the circumstances have changed. Also, this new viral strain is not significantly affecting our lungs. Despite the fact that patients have had a dry lung issue for a while, the patients who are coming in do not require oxygen. For a patient with severe disease, there may be a risk associated with this variant. They must follow the precautions,” he said.
Dr. Arvind has stated that people who are already suffering from pulmonary illness have to be more careful with the new variant.
