The 13th season of the most-watched musical show Indian Idol premiered on 10th September 2022 on Sony Entertainment Television which airs every Saturday and Sunday at 8:00 pm and available on SonyLiv.

On Sunday 1st January 2024 the episode of Indian Idol celebrated their success party along with welcoming New Year 2024 by inviting all the celebrated singers and music artists from the industry.
There were back-to-back performances of the contestants along with the well-known singers and composers.
Comedian Harsh Limbachiya joins the host Aditya Narayan and set the stage on a laughter riot with his well-known one-liners and humor.
Starting with Kavya Limaya and Ash Ganguly performed the songs I love you and Aunty Ji.
Chirag Kotwal performed Zalima,
Shivam Sharma along with Vishal Dadlani performed the song, Tashan Mein.
Sonakshi Kar with Pawandeep Rajan performed on Tujh se Raabta and Mere Dholna.
Vineet Singh and Rahul Vaidya performed on Tere Jaisa Yaar Kaha and Makhna.
Rishi Singh with Jeet Ganguly performed Hamari Adhuri Kahani and Khamoshiyaan,
Senjuti Das performed Manva Lage
Deboshmita Roy and Sreeram Chandra performed Ek Main Aur Ek Tu, Balma, and Deewana Dil,

The night ends with an honest interview of judges Vishal Dalani and Himesh Reshammiya with host Aditya Narayan by RJ Malishka.

Vishal Dadlani on Shekar Ravjiani
After the performance of contestant Senjuti Das, the judges and audience were flabbergasted by her singing ‘Manva Lage’ from the movie Happy New Year originally sung by Shreya Ghosal and Arijit Singh composed by the duo Vishal-Shekar.
Judge Vishal Dadlani after the performance commented: “If not Shreya Ghosal then I would have selected you for singing this song”, he further states “without Shekar main kuch bhi nahi hu (I am nothing without Shekar Ravjiani), Shekar is my friend and my guru” he further states that he will be sharing the video of her performance with Shekar as they always hunt for new talent appraising her by adding that she is such a great singer and can make her mark in the music world as her singing is perfect.
He concludes by stating, “I pray to god from the bottom of my heart, let people know through you that Senjuti Das was discovered in Indian Idol 13”.
