Is India influenced by Pakistan? The slogans on Indian streets have a story to tell.
Gustakh e rasool ki ek hi saza sar Tan se juda slogan was first used in Pakistan. It means if any human insults the islamic god the only punishment for him is death.
This slogan was first raised by a Pakistani priest Khadim Hussain Rizvi who through his speeches showed his
hatred for the minorities of Pakistan as well as for India.
All the way from Pakistan the slogan has traveled to India and has finally tried to settle down in India. In the past we have seen such incidents where these slogans were raised. People were seen shouting out loud these slogans without the freedom of the law .
How did it come into the limelight in India?
Sar tan se juda: Origin of the anti-Hindu war cry after Nupur Sharma’s controversial Prophet Muhammad remark
The ‘sar tan se juda’ gang have been scalping one victim after another following now suspended BJP
spokesperson Nupur Sharma’s controversial statement on Prophet Muhammad resulted in a widespread ruckus across the country.
New Delhi: Recent months have seen a sort of the anti-Hindu battle cry going viral in India.
The ‘sar tan se juda’ gang have been scalping one victim after another following now suspended BJP
spokesperson Nupur Sharma’s controversial statement on Prophet Muhammad resulted in a widespread ruckus across the country.
A growing radicalized outcry has overtaken the streets of the country, with people found in support of Nupur
Sharma’s statement getting condemned brutally. Six people across India have faced the wrath of the ‘sar tan se juda’ ideology.
The victims
In June, a 54-year-old chemist Umesh Kolhe, in Amravati city of eastern Maharashtra was stabbed to death
for allegedly sharing a post on some WhatsApp groups in support of Sharma’s controversial comments on Prophet Muhammad.
On 28 June, Rajasthan Kanhaiya Lal, a tailor in Udaipur, was hacked to death by two Muslim men with a
cleaver at his shop in the Dhan Mandi area to avenge an “insult to Islam”.
The killers had also made a video of the murder of Kanhaiyalal in Udaipur. The killers gave a slogan at the end of the video, ‘…sar tan se juda’ (sar tan se juda).
Nishank Rathore, a 20-year-old engineering student, was found dead on a railway track in Madhya Pradesh’s Raisen district.
The police ruled out any foul play but a mysterious text message from his phone – “Gustakh-e-Nabi ki ek saza, sar tan se juda” confounded authorities.
Most recently, a group of people allegedly attacked a man in Maharashtra’s Ahmednagar district with sharp weapons, accusing him of supporting suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma.
What links all these attacks and murders are the general line of thought and the use of the slogan.
But this slogan is not new
‘Sar tan se juda’ is not a new outcry in India. It was first used widely about 5 years ago, when Kamlesh Tiwari of Lucknow gave a statement about Pangbar Mohammad.
Soon after, an outcry went viral, ” Gustakh-e-Rasool Ki Ek Hi Saza, Sar Tan Se Juda, Sar Tan Se Juda” (Same punishment of Gustakh-e-Rasool, separated from the body, separated from the body.)”

Who is Syed Abdahu kashaf?
Syed Abdahu Kashaf is a Jawaharlal Nehru University pass out and works as a Digital Content Creator at Crimson Media Company. As per his online profile, Kashaf has worked as AIMIM and its chief Asaduddin Owaisi’s social media head from 2012 to 2019.
Kashaf calls himself a political strategist and Social and Civil Rights Activist. The “young and energetic” political strategist was described as an “influencer” by several media houses after he issued death threats to BJP’s T Raja. Interestingly, the more people tagged him and condemned ‘sar tan se juda’ slogans, the more he gloated over the remarks and happily retweeted the posts that were against him.
The blunt and remorseless attitude does not originate on its own. Such an attitude is shown by a person only when he or she is sure that no one can touch him. The recent incidents, including that of Nupur Sharma, where the former Spokesperson of BJP had to hide from public view over the remarks she passed during a debate, the murders that happened just because the victims supported Nupur Sharma, no strong action against the likes of Munawar Faruqui, Mohammed Zubair and the other panelist Rehmani who provoked Sharma, are a few reasons anti-social elements like Kashaf are boldly openly giving death threats.
Even the past incidents such as Akbaruddin Owaisi getting acquitted by the court in the case over his provocative speech in which he urged the police to remove Police for 15 minutes have fueled such an attitude.
Here are a few posts that we came across on Kashaf’s social media accounts.
On August 22, Kashaf gathered hundreds of Islamists following the alleged derogatory remarks by T Raja against Prophet Muhammad. During the protest, he gave ‘sar tan se juda’ slogans and provoked the Muslims against T Raja. The video of the speech that he gave has gone viral on social media platforms. He not only published the videos from his social media accounts but also retweeted those posts that shared the video of him raising ‘sar tan se juda slogans’ and condemning him. The blunt showcase of the ‘I don’t care’ attitude shows he knows no one is going to come after him.
Children chanting ‘sar tan se juda’ slogans during protests against Raja Singh: NCPCR asks Hyderabad CP to file FIRs
Massive protests broke out in Hyderabad over a video in which now-expelled BJP MLA Raja Singh allegedly made derogatory remarks against Prophet Mohammed.
Hyderabad: The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), on Wednesday, took cognizance of the shocking visuals from Hyderabad in which children were reportedly seen shouting slogans of ‘sar tan se juda’ during protests against suspended Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLAT Raja Singh. The NCPCR wrote to the Hyderabad Police Commissioner and directed the police to register an FIR and produce the children before the Child Welfare Committee. The commission also asked the top cop to take action within seven days.
The police have also been asked to record statements of parents and submit an action taken report. Massive protests erupted in Hyderabad over a purported video showing Raja Singh allegedly making derogatory remarks against Prophet Mohammed.
There are many more examples of such incidents where people seemed fearless. But the matter of concern is do people don’t understand the concept of law and constitution or do people instead of knowing them try to disturb the peaceful environment of the country. Why the people who are involved in it involve the future of India to be a part of their mentality. The small small kids were seen with the banner and raising slogans.
This environment will never lead a developing country to a developed country.
